Welcome to JLB Business. This is the first of five short guides for owners, and it covers getting set up. Start with your welcome email. When your business is approved, that email gives you your booking page address and a one-time setup code. Open the JLB Business app, or the business website, and choose "I have a setup code". Enter your page name and the setup code. That code works once, and never again. From then on, signing in is simple. The front door is a sign-in code: enter your email address, and we email you a six-digit code. Type the code, and you are in. There is nothing to remember. A password is optional. If you want one, set it in Settings, under My sign-in, together with a secret question. You will find the password door under More options on the sign-in screen. One thing to ignore: the yellow banner that says "Testers, press here" is only for testers. Real businesses never use it. Next, follow the setup checklist. In the app, open Settings and tap Setup checklist. It walks you through nine short steps, in the right order: notifications, your business profile, your services and prices, your hours, payments, and your booking page, among them. Each step ticks itself off as you finish it. Your booking page goes live once it has a name, a service, and hours. Send yourself a test booking to see exactly what your clients see. Last, the guided tour. The first time you open the app, a short tour lights up the main places and explains each one. You can skip it at any step. To watch it again, open Help and tap "Replay the quick tour". That is setup. The next guide covers your calendar and bookings.
