This guide covers your calendar and bookings in the JLB Business app. The app has five tabs along the bottom: Overview, Calendar, Requests, Clients, and Money. Overview is your day at a glance. Calendar is your schedule. Requests is where new booking requests wait for your answer. When a client books, nothing is final until you say yes. Open Requests, look the request over, and approve it or decline it. Approved bookings land on your calendar, and the client is told by the booking system. Bookings you make yourself, for example for a client who phones you, skip the request stage and confirm right away. In Calendar, you can look at one person's day at a time when you have a team, and blocked time, like days off and breaks, sits in the same view, so nothing gets double-booked by accident. Now, check-in: the "I'm here" button. It starts turned off. To turn it on, open Settings, find the feature switches, and turn on the switch labelled "Check-in — the I'm here arrival button on today's appointments". With check-in on, two things happen. First, your client can tap "I'm here" in My bookings when they arrive for today's appointment. Their arrival lands in that appointment's message thread, and the appointment is stamped with the arrival time. Second, you can tell your client you have arrived. Open a confirmed appointment for today, or your next upcoming one, find "Tell your client you've arrived", and tap "I'm here". Your client gets the message right away. Check-in only ever appears for today's appointments. Turn the switch off, and the button disappears everywhere. The next guide covers money and receipts.
